I would like to start out by telling you are awesome, and I am sorry this letter is late. I hope that if you need it, you find it.
First off, some general likes. I am a huge fan of hurt/comfort -- characters that are broken down completely and somehow have to rebuild. I like it when dudes need to be rescued -- by ladies, or by gentlemen. I like relationships of all sorts -- be they platonic, het, slash, or femmeslash. When it comes to femmeslash, I will take any awesome lady/any other awesome lady. I am...really not picky on that front. Really, really. Just give me all the complex and interesting ladies interacting with other complex and interesting ladies.
I love it when characters are loyal to one another, and protective of one another, and I tend to prefer relationships rooted in easy camaraderie rather than animosity -- best friendship serving as the undercurrent to romance, or relationships that just have that easy, playful feeling. Sex that's equal parts passion and laughter. Unless it's femmeslash, or messy, teenage love, in which case anything goes. I am a huge fan of the hero's journey. I like AUs, but I also love things that are canon-compliant.
This is completely off-topic, but writing this is starting to feel like filling out an online dating profile...Moving on to dislikes! I don't like power imbalances between men and women, unless it's the woman with the power. I don't like A/B/O or d/s verse. (Though actual, properly-negotiated d/s is fine and dandy). I hate m-preg with a fiery passion. I like consent within romantic relationships. Beyond that, I don't squick easy. My first fandom was a weird, weird corner of Lord of the Rings where "angst" literally meant "graphic torture," so do whatever calls to you.

Scandal
Characters: Quinn Perkins, Huck, Olivia Pope, Jake Ballard.
Request: Anything with B-613. Other characters would be great, too, but I'd prefer a lack of focus on the Olivia-Fitz relationship.
Huck & Quinn or Huck/Quinn would be great -- I'm completely in love with the fact that in showing her the ropes, he's saved himself in some ways, but she seems to be sinking into darkness.
Olivia-and-or-slash-Jake would be great, too. I understand that I am way, way in the minority when it comes to preferring things about them and not Fitz, but at the moment that I am writing this prompt, the most recent episode ended with a bloodied Jake collapsing at Olivia's feet -- and that is the sort of thing that I am all about. I think their dynamic is really interesting, and would love to see it explored in fic.
I'd also love to read about Huck and Jake interacting more.
Additional Notes: Just about what it says on the tin, except I was jetlagged and forgot to ramble about Mellie. I love Mellie, and I am equally for Olivia/Jake, and Olivia/Mellie. I'd read the shit of the fic where Olivia and Mellie team up to take down Fitz, and Liv has an affair with the new President Grant. Also, I was trying to be so diplomatic about Fitz, for some reason. I...do not like Fitz -- to put it mildly -- and think that his relationship with Olivia is super fucked up, and that he abuses his power in her general direction constantly.
But yeah! Messed up assassins and Liv's terrifying father and the Gladiators are always welcome. Also, backstory for Jake. (I'm 1000% in love with the backstory we got for Huck, and how elegantly the show touched on class issues with it). Jake seems to have been a lot less damaged by B-613. Are looks deceiving? Does he also think of killing as an addiction? Is he another broken thing for Liv to fix, or is he something different? I could just ramble about all the things I want for these characters forever, but I will stop now.
The Snow Queen
Characters: Gerda, Kai, The Snow Queen
Request: Anything that deals with the fact that, for once, a girl is rescuing a boy, and it is her story.
Notes: I am so sorry. That was so vague. Had I not been rushing this on the last day before the deadline, fresh off a nineteen hour flight, I would have said something like: give me everything that Frozen could have been. Give me Gerda as she is -- a girl on a hero's journey, with diverse helpers -- perhaps make the helpers figures from the folklore of different cultures. AUs are welcome. The Snow Queen in space! The Snow Queen in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, etc. I don't care if the love between Kai and Gerda is platonic or romantic. If you did Gerda/Snow Queen well, I could be into that, too.
Greek Mythology
Characters: Persephone, Hera, Artemis, Athena
Request:I forgot about nominations, but am also a huge sucker for the Eros/Psyche tale, as well as Prometheus. If you write me a story about Psyche, trying to win back Eros, I will probably love you forever. Or Prometheus's tortures.
But if you'd rather write about powerful, tempestuous goddesses, I will also probably love you forever. Anything with parallels between Hera and Persephone would be great, and parallels between Artemis and Athena as well.
Notes: I um, have very little notes. Except for rambling about Psyche and Eros and Aphrodite, and Aphrodite sending Psyche on a quest if she wishes to win back Eros. (Women going on hero's journeys is a thing for me). There's probably something in there with Aphrodite positioning herself as an obstacle between her son and a woman whose beauty has been compared to Aphrodite's own, and fucked up mother-son relationships, and some kind of Psyche/Aphrodite with Aphrodite wanting to know what Eros sees in her, and yeah.
But also, like, Prometheus is so interesting, so anything about Prometheus would be great. Or, again, anything about queen goddesses and virgin warrior goddesses, and I do mean anything. Just give me all the ladies.
Shameless
Characters: Mickey Milkovich, Mandy Milkovich, Fiona Gallagher, Ian Gallagher
Request: I am so starved for this show that anything would make me happy -- including things that aren't happy. (I loveShameless, so clearly, I enjoy having my soul ground to pieces).
But if you'd like some ideas:
Parallels between Mandy + Lip and Mickey + Ian! Mickey interacting with Gallaghers that aren't Ian. Ian & Mandy being best friends. Fiona dealing with her brothers' weird affinity for the Milkovich family. Fiona dealing with Ian running off to the army. Fiona coping with losing Jimmy -- whether or not she finds out what really happened. Mickey's wife running off on him, and Mickey getting stuck with the baby. Mickey legitimately trying to make the functional, real family that he's never had with Svetlana -- and failing miserably & crushingly (and if you feel like a happy ending, maybe him figuring out that he can have a less conventional family with Ian and Mandy etc.)
Additional Notes: I have a Milkovich problem. I cannot help it. They were raised in violence, and they react in kind, and I am a sucker for that shit. I'd love some kind of exploration of Mandy hitting Karen with that car, and the way that Mickey didn't even blink -- just told her what to do to keep from getting caught. I'd love Fiona's perspective on her brothers and their tempestuous relationships with the Milkovich siblings, or Fiona realizing the kind of hand the Milkoviches were dealt, and finding herself shocked at the heartbreak she feels for these fucked up kids, and her brothers, who love them. I would love any kind of AU where Fiona is actually some kind of supernatural being, because she is too amazing to be human. I don't even know. I also did not mention how much I love Ian and Lip's brotherly relationship. They are amazing.
I would fucking love a zombie apocalypse AU where their neighborhood has been predictably abandoned by the government, and they're fending for themselves, but doing just fine. Lip and Ian do crazy supply runs together. Fiona makes sure everyone eats. The Milkoviches patrol with baseball bats and smash in the heads of zombies, and also have their crazy fucking armory. Lip makes genius zombie traps to keep them away from home base, but as it turns out, Carl is really amazing at that, too. Kev has secretly had an awesome zombie plan for years, and he and V are sitting pretty. Debbie is a first-aid goddess, etc.
